ABOUT UAMMCL
The Unati Agri Allied and Marketing Multi-State Cooperative Society Ltd. (UAMMCL) is a member-owned, multi-state cooperative institution committed to building inclusive, resilient, and cooperative-led economic systems across Bharat. Rooted in over two decades of grassroots experience through the Unati movement, UAMMCL functions as an institutional platform that strengthens farmer and community enterprises, women-led livelihoods, responsible value chains, and wellbeing-centered market systems. Guided by cooperative principles of democratic participation, shared ownership, transparency, and long-term institution-building, UAMMCL exists to ensure that value circulates within communities, livelihoods remain dignified, and cooperation becomes the foundation of a sustainable national future.

Unati empowers rural women by providing livelihood opportunities, skill development, and financial independence through sustainable bio-resource activities, helping them become active contributors to community growth and decision-making.
Unati supports farmers with fair market access, value-added processing, and sustainable farming practices, improving income and reducing dependency on middlemen while promoting eco-friendly agricultural development.
Unati’s cooperative approach connects communities, promotes shared growth, and creates employment through collective efforts, integrating women, farmers, and entrepreneurs into a strong, sustainable rural economy.
Building a cooperative future where communities thrive, farmers prosper, and shared growth creates lasting impact across Bharat
OUR VERTICALS
The Living Structure of UAMMCL’s Work
UAMMCL is not built as a collection of projects. It is built as an institution — a cooperative system that grows slowly, deeply, and together.
Our work is organized across four integrated verticals. Each vertical represents a core truth of rural India:
- livelihoods must be dignified
- food must be trustworthy
- farmers must receive fair value
- cooperation must remain the foundation
These verticals are not separate departments.
They are connected pathways — like roots, trunk, branches, and fruit — forming one cooperative ecosystem.
Mass Livelihood Generation For Women
When Women Rise, Communities Become Strong
The first foundation of UAMMCL is women.
Rural women already carry the economy silently — through farms, households, and care. Our work is to ensure that this strength becomes recognized, organized, and economically empowered. Through cooperative pathways such as Unati Behan, women become entrepreneurs, wellness guides, and community leaders — not as beneficiaries, but as owners of the system. When a woman earns with dignity, the village breathes with confidence.
Health And Wellbeing Of Consumer
Food, Trust, and the Wellness of Society
Health is not a luxury. It is the first right of every household.
UAMMCL works to rebuild the natural connection between nutrition, wellbeing, and community trust. We strengthen cooperative systems where food is pure, supply chains are honest, and wellness is rooted in India’s living traditions. This vertical carries a simple belief: When society eats well, society lives well.
Authenticated & Assured Markets Platform for Farmers
Closing the Distance Between the Farmer and the Consumer
The farmer should not remain distant from the consumer. For too long, value has been lost in the gap between the one who grows and the one who consumes. UAMMCL exists to build cooperative value chains that bring fairness, transparency, and dignity back into the market journey:
Farm → Factory → Fork → Consumer
When farmers receive fair value and consumers receive trusted products, the economy becomes balanced again — not extractive, but circular.
Cooperation Among Cooperatives
A National Grid of Shared Strength
India’s future cannot be built by isolated efforts.
The cooperative movement grows when cooperatives grow together. UAMMCL is designed as an enabling institution — connecting PACS, FPOs, SHGs, women collectives, and cooperative bodies into one shared ecosystem of learning, governance, and mutual progress. This is cooperation among cooperatives: a national structure of trust, not competition.
OUR PROJECTS
Translating Cooperative Vision into Ground Systems
UAMMCL advances its mission through focused initiatives that convert cooperative values into practical, community-rooted systems.
Each initiative functions as part of an integrated ecosystem, where livelihoods, markets, wellbeing, and institutional capacity reinforce one another—ensuring that prosperity is shared and sustained through collective ownership.
Featured Initiatives
Impact Through Cooperative Action
UAMMCL’s impact is reflected in the institutions strengthened, livelihoods sustained, and trust rebuilt within food and market systems.
Through cooperative action across multiple states, the society supports women-led livelihood pathways, community-based nutrition and wellbeing systems, strengthened farmer value chains, and collaboration among cooperatives.
Impact at UAMMCL is measured not only in outcomes, but in resilience created—cooperative by cooperative, community by community.
