Technology Capacity Building for Cooperative Futures

The Unati Agri Allied and Marketing Multi-State Cooperative Society Ltd. (UAMMCL) has established the Unati Drone Academy to build future-ready technical skills within the cooperative ecosystem. The Academy equips youth, cooperative members, and community participants with responsible drone competencies that support agriculture, rural services, and cooperative operations. Here, technology is not seen as disruption — but as an enabler of trust, efficiency, and community development.

Purpose of the Unati Drone Academy

The Academy strengthens technical capacity in rural and cooperative systems while ensuring drone technology remains accessible, ethical, and institutionally grounded. It supports modern livelihood pathways, agricultural advancement, and safe, regulated deployment of drone technology.

Training and Capacity-Building Approach

Training combines practical and theoretical drone modules with cooperative awareness. Participants gain exposure to real agricultural and rural applications alongside strong orientation on safety, compliance, and responsible operations — all aligned with cooperative values and regulatory guidelines.

Areas of Application

The Academy builds skills for drone-led agriculture and rural services, including field monitoring, crop health assessment, rural infrastructure support, and data-enabled cooperative operations. The focus is on strengthening productivity, livelihoods, and institutional efficiency.

Role within the UAMMCL Ecosystem

As a component of UAMMCL’s Capacity Building of Cooperatives and PACS vertical, the Academy enhances the cooperative network’s technical foundation. It supports modernization efforts, youth engagement, and prepares institutions for future technological needs.

Participation and Eligibility

The Academy is open to youth, cooperative and PACS members, and community participants associated with UAMMCL. All training follows institutional policies and applicable regulatory frameworks.

Commitment to Responsible Technology Use

The Academy maintains strict compliance, safety-first training, and ethical technology practices. Drone technology is used to strengthen cooperative development — never to replace the human systems of trust and accountability that define UAMMCL’s values.
