Ecological Regeneration Through Cooperative Livelihoods

The Unati Green Mission is a regenerative sustainability initiative of The Unati Agri Allied and Marketing Multi-State Cooperative Society Ltd. (UAMMCL), built to restore landscapes, strengthen ecological livelihoods, and promote community-led green development. Grounded in the Unati belief that rural prosperity depends on the health of soil, water, and forests, the mission aligns livelihood growth with long-term ecological care.

Purpose

The mission responds to rising rural ecological challenges—soil degradation, climate stress, water scarcity, and declining natural resilience. It works to enable cooperative ecological regeneration, create restorative livelihoods, build community stewardship of natural resources, and anchor green development within institutional responsibility.

Model & Approach

Unati Green Mission follows a cooperative, community-rooted model. It brings people together to restore landscapes, adopt regenerative practices, link sustainability with rural enterprise, and nurture a shared ethic of caring for the land as a community asset.

Key Focus Areas

The mission strengthens ecological resilience through:

  1. Regenerative livelihood pathways that generate income through restoration work.
  2. Community stewardship of soil, water, and green landscapes.
  3. Climate-resilient rural development driven by cooperative participation.
  4. Institutional sustainability, where green practices become part of enterprise and governance.

Role Within the UAMMCL Ecosystem

Unati Green Mission complements UAMMCL initiatives such as Bamboo Mission, Eco Rahi, Unati Behan, and rural enterprise platforms. Together, they integrate regeneration with livelihood development, ensuring that ecological care becomes part of institutional growth—not a standalone activity.

Long-Term Vision

The mission contributes to a cooperative Bharat where development strengthens both people and the planet. It aims to restore ecological balance, build resilient green enterprises, and ensure that rural prosperity remains sustainable for future generations.

Commitment to Cooperative Ecology

Guided by the values of participation, dignity, transparency, and community ownership, the mission reinforces a fundamental belief: the land is not separate from the community—it is the community.

When we regenerate the earth together, we regenerate the future together.
